That Lonesome Surfer Dude ist eine One-Man-Surfrock-Show mit Gitarre und Retro-Visuals von Gitarrist Volker „Vangus“ Voigt (u.a. Dirty Deeds ’79, Molotow Soda und The Puke).

Der Surfer Dude beamt Dich zurück in die Sechziger Jahre. Der Flug in den Weltraum, kreischende Teenager, heulende Motoren, diverse Monster und Outlaws, jede Menge Wellen, Gitarre und Reverb!

Im Programm des Surfer Dude finden sich instrumentale Surfrock Hits von u.a. den Ventures, den Chantays oder den Pyramids. Den “Twang” von Link Wray, Duane Eddy oder The Shadows garniert er mit staubigen Italo Western Classics und den schönsten TV Serientiteln der Sixties. Ausflüge zum Ska runden das Bild ab und laden zum Tanzen ein.

That Lonesome Surfer Dude is a one-man surf rock spectacle featuring guitar-driven sounds and retro visuals, brought to life by guitarist Volker “Vangus” Voigt (Dirty Deeds ’79, Molotow Soda, The Puke, among others).

The Surfer Dude takes you on a time trip straight back to the swinging sixties: space-age dreams, screaming teens, roaring engines, wild monsters and outlaws — and of course, crashing waves, twangy guitars and lots of reverb!

His set features instrumental surf rock classics by the Ventures, the Chantays, the Pyramids and others. The “twang” of Link Wray, Duane Eddy, and The Shadows gets a cinematic twist with dusty Italo Western themes and the most iconic TV show tunes of the decade. Occasional detours into ska add extra groove and keep the dance floor moving.
